Juz Amma Memorization Schedule

quran memorization schedule

For a successful Quran memorization journey, it is crucial to have a smart schedule. Even memorizing just one juz requires a proper schedule and a well-thought-out plan. If you are starting your hifz journey, Juz Amma is the first stage to begin with. To accommodate people with different tendencies and availabilities, we have created multiple schedules in which the 37 Surahs of Juz Amma are divided. Hifz Academy also takes into account the number of days per week when making the schedule. The beginning of each schedule covers more than half part of the Juz to allow students to memorize the last 4 long Surahs without any pressure.

Revision

In order to stick to the schedule effectively, it’s important to set aside some extra time for revisions. This will allow you to have the last week of the 2nd month free for your tests and competitions. Make sure to review your daily lessons during your prayers with proper Tajweed and Makharij. The reason we have scheduled more surahs in the 1st month is due to variations in their lengths. Some surahs are just 3-5 verses long, while others are 35-40 verses. Therefore, it’s best to focus on memorizing more surahs at the beginning and target them efficiently to memorize quran fast.

1-Month Juz Amma Schedule

This is an advanced schedule for those who can easily spare 3-4 hours daily for their hifz program and are familiar with translation and Tajweed. You only have a month to memorize 37 Surahs so let’s plan them out smartly.
